Assignment 17: Elevator Pitch No.2


The feedback I received from the last elevator pitch was mostly positive. They all mostly said that it was a good idea and that they found that the problem was real. I think one thing that I did differently was to not be so up tight and give a scenario to hook the viewer in. I wanted to focus more on the hook and less on the app and its functions because people know this already.

    Jonathan,

    You did a better job this week loosening up and seeming more relaxed. I like how you integrated your phone this time and better explained the purpose of your app and how people use it. I think you look very professional and this aspect helps with your pitch. You did a good job explaining this business model this time. Good job this week.

    Jonathan,
    Great job on your second elevator pitch, I think you did a better job this time around I like how you stayed loose with this one and how you were trying to focus more on getting your audience's attention rather than talking about how to use the app. You did an excellent job of conveying your message to the audience.

Assignment 27: Reading Reflection No.3

1.        What surprised me the most about the Wright Brothers is that they lived in their family home when they were 30 and began to take interest in their invention at this age. What I admire most about them is that they took on a challenge that everyone thought was impossible and actually made it happen. What I least admire about them is that they still stayed at the family home as adults but this really doesn’t bother me that much; there’s not much I can find that I hate about them from reading this book.
