Reflection:
This experience will allow me to grow in my business sense because
it has connected me to other people who have a large influence in the business
world. It has helped me conquer a fear of putting my foot through the door and
now I feel more confident to do so in the future. This has differed from other
networking experiences in the past because it involves people who are higher up
than I am whereas my past experiences involved my peers.
Jonathan,
ReplyDeleteI see that you have reached out to very important people in your social network even as an attempt to receive some feedback and I applaud you for the effort. I really hope that these CEO's will reply to your email as I believe that they would have some very valuable knowledge and information to offer for a college student like yourself. For the rec sports employee, I see that you also wanted to ask someone local in the area to really do research in your market. I believe that this is a very smart idea to do also. Networking is indeed a skill to be learned and it is a game that is played by the very most successful people in the world.

Jonathan,
ReplyDeleteI like how you spoke with someone that has used a similar product to the one you want to make. That would give you a great insight into how you can make your app better. I think that reaching out to people that can help you develop your product will give you great advice. Networking with people that have a high status is a great way to get really good advice on things or help better understand things that you were unsure about.
