Assignment 14: Halfway Reflection
2. A moment where I wanted to give up was when I didn’t get accepted into UF coming out of high school. I didn’t really think that I could ever go to this school but I kept trying to find a way in and I decided to go to Santa Fe and eventually transfer over. It took a lot of work and dedication but I eventually was able to transfer here after two years of school. What pulled me through were my friends here in Gainesville that inspired and supported me throughout my journey through Santa Fe College. I think that these past two months have developed my tenacious attitude because this is a more difficult school in a competitive setting so it has given me some challenges to overcome.
3. The three tips I would offer to next semester’s students are do the assignments before the due date, go to or watch every lecture, and be accountable for your own performance.

Hello Jonathan,
ReplyDeleteI agree with you that time management is a behavior that is learned and must be constantly learned to be a high functioning individual. I really liked your tenaciousness when you did not get accepted into UF and you kept trying your best to achieve your dreams. I think that is very admirable. As long as you have this mentality, you will eventually succeed.
Hello Jonathan,
ReplyDeleteI do believe that this post is very beneficial to students entering the class. you are right that leaving things to the last minute is not a good idea due to the fact that sometimes the assignment can have many steps that can make it difficult to do them. i also liked the picture you used for this assignment, it show the character you should have when you finish your assignments on time. Great job.
Hi, Jonathan
ReplyDeleteI think this will great advice for students that are considering to take this class and are trying to be successful in it. I believe if you are focused and prepared in this class and manage your time wisely in this class that you should be fine. However, if you try and put off this and wait until the last minute to due assignments eventually it will catch up to you.
