Assignment 8: Solving the Problem

A solution to my problem of scheduling recreational sports with others is a website or an app that can be downloaded on a person’s mobile device. This can be used by people who are friends and those who are strangers because they can communicate on one platform from wherever they are easily. In my head, one would be able to make posts on this website or app that details things such as what sport they want to play, when they want to do this, how many people they already have in their group, how many people they are looking for, etc. There are other apps like this for things like video games and they are called “LFG” apps or Looking for Game apps. Essentially, this app would be like those other apps but for sports.

As I’ve mentioned before, I think that this is a great idea, and just as mine I do believe that the best way to address this problem is by creating a website or an app that can be downloaded on a person’s mobile device.     Hi Johnathan,

    I enjoyed reading your blog post and it is a great idea to enact something that can keep people organized while partaking in their favorite things. Perhaps, this app's revenue source could be using advertisements so that it is not much of a commitment for its users? Since the service seems to be more casual anyway.

Assignment 27: Reading Reflection No.3

1.        What surprised me the most about the Wright Brothers is that they lived in their family home when they were 30 and began to take interest in their invention at this age. What I admire most about them is that they took on a challenge that everyone thought was impossible and actually made it happen. What I least admire about them is that they still stayed at the family home as adults but this really doesn’t bother me that much; there’s not much I can find that I hate about them from reading this book.
